DPD Coaching Services was
established in 2001 to provide a wide range of sports coaching services
for children and adults throughout Sussex. The company has continued to
develop all areas of the business and now provides sports coaching and
children’s holiday activities all year round.
We enjoy working together with health clubs, schools, local social clubs
and hotels. The Company was set up with the view to create and
develop a service for children giving them the opportunity to excel in
sport, thus creating a healthier future generation in Sussex.
Through recreational activities, we believe, by encouraging children to
participate in sport we can install confidence and focus, whilst having
fun and making new friends.
Just a few of our successes we are very proud of include children going
on to swim at County level, adults overcoming a life-long fear of water,
players representing their schools and clubs.
Qualifications
Our coaches all have various levels of qualifications with the relevant
awarding body, but mainly are as follows:
• Swimming - ASA and
STA Swimming Teachers Certificate and NPLQ Life Guard Certificate
• Football - British
Football Association Coaching Qualifications (Level 1,2 & 3)
• Basketball - English
Basketball Association Coaching Qualifications (Level 1 & 2)
• Cricket - English
Cricket Board Coaching Qualifications (Level 1 & 2)
• Trampolining - British
Trampoline Federation Coaching Qualifications (Level 1 & 2)
• Athletics - UKA Coaching
Qualifications (Level 1 & 2)
In addition to the above, we aim to provide tennis coaching in the foreseeable future.
